Each year Roy Morgan surveys around 25,000 Australians to measure levels of trust and distrust of around 1,000 brands across 26 industries. Respondents are asked which Australian retail brands do they trust, and why?
Interestingly, not much separates them within their categories or business models.
All three overlap within a department store style, offering a vast and varied SKU count. They all promote their year-round discounted prices. And they're all Direct-to-Customer business models.
So who are this year's top three, most-trusted Australian retail brands?

Coming in at number 1, the hardware chain heavyweight Bunnings Warehouse.

Number 2, German supermarket giant, Aldi.

Number 3, discount department store, Kmart.
